Our Mission

We aim to preserve, promote, and make accessible the rich tradition of Indian classical music to musicians, students, and enthusiasts worldwide.

What you can do here

• Sing live or upload a clip and get the closest matching raags, in both Hindustani and Carnatic readings.
• Explore a raag library with arohana, avarohana, pakad, mood and time-of-day, plus performance and explanation videos.
• Use the Practice Room with a 1-credit, 24-hour pass: microphone monitoring, effects, a tanpura drone tuned to your Sa, a live swara ribbon and a practice report generated in your own browser.
• Keep a practice session journal with recordings saved on your own device, and optionally have the words you sang extracted and scored against the swaras.
• Practise with the on-screen keyboard, reference tones and ear and note exercises once you are signed in.
• Go live in audio or audio-and-video, have the performance archived automatically, and receive credit gifts from listeners.
• Connect with other singers and musicians, and take part in the community forum, moods, comments and votes.
• Get help from live support chat, where an automated assistant can answer straight away and a human takes over when needed.

How it works, honestly

Analysis combines signal processing in your browser with AI running on our servers, matched against a reference library of 144+ raags from the Hindustani and Carnatic traditions. Results are estimates: recording quality, accompaniment, ornamentation and raags that share the same swaras all affect them, and two runs on the same clip can differ. Always check with a teacher or an authoritative source before relying on an answer.
