1. What we use, and what we don't
Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data your browser keeps for a site. We use only what is needed to sign you in, keep the Service secure, count unique devices, and remember small interface choices.
We do not use advertising cookies, do not run ad networks, and do not track you across other websites.

3. Visitor counting
The visitor numbers shown on the site are counts of unique devices, not people. They are derived from the random device identifier and the device fingerprint hash described above, together with an approximate country derived from your IP address at the time of the visit. We do not build advertising profiles from this data.
4. Managing and clearing them
You can clear cookies and local storage, or block them, in your browser settings. If you do: you will be signed out and must sign in again, your browser will be counted as a new device, and the human check may appear more often. Blocking the strictly necessary items will prevent sign-in and the analysis features from working.
5. Microphone and the headphone check
Live singing and the headphone check use your microphone only while the feature is running and only after your browser asks for permission. The short tone played during the headphone check, and the bleed it listens for, are processed in your browser to decide whether headphones are in use; that test audio is not stored or sent to us. Only the pass/fail outcome may be kept in your browser so you are not asked again on the same device.
